It was fun eating in the classroom. At the end of the day we shared the desserts that some of the kids brought to class. There were cookies, cupcakes, and brownies. Two people brought in treat bags! We want to say thank you to all of the parents who joined PTA and sent in food for our party! |
Thanks to our wonderful parents, our class won the PTA membership drive pizza party! We decided to have the party on October 30. There is no school on October 31. That's not because of Halloween. October 31 is Nevada's birthday. As a class we developed a menu. Then everyone signed up to bring something.
We had our party at lunchtime. We went to recess like we usually do so we could run around and burn up some of our energy. Miss Powell set up for the party. When we came into the classroom we had pizza and chips. Some people brought fruit and carrots & celery. Not all of our food was junk food.
