Mad Science
We had a scientist come to our room to talk about tectonic plates, magma, lava, earthquakes, and rocks. We made something that contained beads and if it was sunny outside and we went outside the beads would turn colors.

Helping Out
On Sunday, my dad and I worked on my derby car. We had to put on a primer coat to keep the paint from seeping in. Why was entering the derby race? That’s because I wanted to have the fastest car and win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd! When we were done we felt happy that we helped each other!

Stacking
Today we stacked Oreo’s.[YUM YUM] My guess of how many cookies I would stack was 20, but it was 29!!! After stacking, Miss Powell let us eat the cookies!!!!!!! I wanted milk to go with it but instead…I dunked it in water and still ate it!

The Front of the School
I see the tree’s trunk who is thin.
It’s shadow is in front of it.
The sidewalk is gleaming with the grass.
Our school is in a deep shadow.

What I Want to Learn in Third Grade
I am looking forward to science because it is fun! Why it is fun is sometimes you can play around with stuff your teacher passes out and asks questions. There are many questions to be answered and I like to find those answers by doing projects. Experiments can be messy before you get your results.
