Mad Science

Yesterday Asteroid Adam came in. We learned about earthquakes. The highest point is a 10.

We also learned about rocks too. We learned about geodes. Geodes are rocks with crystals in them.

We talked about sandstones. Sandstones are made with the sand and dirt that is blown in by wind. It was so much fun having him come in.

Helping At the Dance Zone

One time I helped 5 year old dancers at the dance studio. I was helping them get ready for the competition. I went over steps with them. We practiced their dance a couple of   times. I put on their makeup and fixed their hair. Helping them made me happy. My dance teacher really appreciated it. I love helping others.  It makes me feel special.

The Front of the School

When I was at the front of the school I saw a lot of trees. Some were fat, skinny, long, wide, tall, and short. There is a trash can way in the back. There was a path made of rocks and a pine tree. I saw a lot of cars in the parking lot.

Third Grade Excitement

I think that I would most like to learn how to write in cursive.  Cursive is cool.  It is fun to do.  The curved lines of the letters are so elegant.  I can’t wait to start writing in cursive.  That will be the most exciting thing in third grade.
