There are 4 different kinds of rocks. One is called igneous which is made up of minerals. There is another kind of rock called sedimentary. That is made of sandstone. There's metamorphic rocks. They are February’s gemstone. Last, but not least, conglomerate rocks are made of lots of ingredients. There's so many things we learned about rocks and still more to know……..

Milk's Favorite Cookie
On Sept. 26, 2008 for our math lesson we stacked Oreo cookies on top of each other. We tried to stack as many as possible. In my group I had Cali and Kianna. Cali stacked the most. She stacked 27 Oreo cookies. I only stacked 23 Oreo cookies. After we guessed how many were in the box. I guessed 60 Oreo cookies but we never found out how many there were. At the end we got to eat three Oreo cookies. It was the best math lesson ever. I wish we could do it again.

The Front of the School
The trees have lots of lime green leaves but have less then five branches. There is a red rose bush in the back by the dark blue school. If you go closer you will see a black trash can filled with stinky garbage.

Third Grade Excitement
I’m excited about learning cursive because I never learned how to do it before. I’m happy to do math facts, art, and reading. Cursive writing is fun to learn because of the shapes of the letters. Also, I want to be able to read cursive. Mixed math facts are my favorite. I love chapter books like “Harry Potter”.
