The Egg-cellent Fashion Show

I made my egg today. I did it at 10:30. I made it in Mrs. Monturio's classroom over in the corner.

I made an airplane because I think they are fun.

The Egg Roll

The Egg Roll is where you roll an egg to see how far you can roll it.  We used plastic Easter eggs.  There were four of them and they were blue, purple, green, and orange. 

The eggs were not the same weight.  The blue one had nothing in it.  The orange one had pennies.  The green one had rice and the purple one had erasers.

I thought I would roll the blue one 50 feet.  It didn't happen.  The orange one went furthest. 

It was fun to do the Egg Roll but boring to wait for my turn.  Kyle laid out a piece of paper that was 50 feet long in the lunchroom.

Mrs. Nevada's Visit

Mrs. Nevada visited our class this week.  She read "Stephanie's Ponytail".  I enjoyed "Stephanie's Ponytail".  Mrs. Nevada did all the things just like in the book. 

Mrs. Nevada's crown was shiny and pretty.  It had diamonds.

Logan's Story About John

Yesterday John came to our classroom.  John is big.  He is six foot four.  John is 31 years old.  He came from New York. 

I loved the book John read to us.  It is called "The Adventures of Taxi Dog".  My favorite part was when the guy gets the dog.

I want to know when John plays in the band.  What time does he play?

My Oreo is black and has yellow stuff in the middle. It has a character on it. My Oreo tastes good. In fact, I think my Oreo tastes great! My Oreo has chocolate on the outside. I bought my Oreos on the way to school. I went shopping with my dad.

The Orange

I swing in the tree on windy days.  I start off tiny and grow each day.  I love to lay in the warm sun.  I have thick skin to hold in my juices.  Some people love to eat me.  Others enjoy drinking me.

I Am a Snowflake

I fall from the sky.  Lucky me!  I landed on a cat.  The cat's fleas almost ate me.  I hope that person will scare the cat so I can jump off.  Cats move fast.  I don't want to stay on!  It is scary and hairy on this thing!

Miss Powell's New Car

I am Miss Powell's new car.  I am a Ford Edge.  I love it that Miss Powell bought me when I was for sale.  She loves driving me.  I love when she drives me.  She is really good at driving.  She doesn't go over the speed limit and she listens to good stations on the radio.  It's fun when we drive together.

How I Spent My Winter Vacation

During Christmas break I did a lot of exciting things.  I went to the desert.  We shot guns at a target.  I went to the movies and I saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks".  I also spent time with my Meme and Papa.

Thanksgiving Traditions

On Thanksgiving we travel to Wyoming.  We give thanks for all that we have.  When we get home we set up our Christmas decorations.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

On Friday in our class Mrs. Ramirez talked about Mexico.  She used to live there.  There are waterfalls.  You can take a bath in the waterfalls and eat fruit.

Wyoming

I went to Wyoming on vacation to see our family.  First we saw Joey and Rachel, my mom's sister's kids.  Then we went to see Jessie, Wyatt, and Colleen.  This is where I rolled my four-wheeler four times.  I got hurt from going too fast.  The four-wheeler ran out of gas.  I ran to the side of a busy road.

How to Eat an Oreo Cookie

1. Pick the cookie up.

2. Put it in your mouth.

3. Take a bite of the Oreo.

4. Get another Oreo.

I take a bath. I brush my teeth. I get clean clothes on. I take a bath so I don't stink. I brush my teeth everyday so I don't get a cavity.

What job do you think will be important in the future?

Teachers need to go to college.  You need to be able to teach reading every day no matter what.  You have to be nice to the kids no matter what.
