Meet My Sister

I have a sister named Kaytlen.  She’s fifteen.  She is so mean!   Sometimes Kaytlen pulls my hair and puts makeup on my face.

Kaytlen likes to go on MySpace… boring!  I like to go on Disney Channel.  That’s fun. 

Sometimes Kaytlen likes to steal my CDs.  She comes in my room and dances around.  She jumps on my bed.  I don’t like that!

Field Day

I like Field Day. My favorite game is Wet n'Wild. That's when you pass a bucket of water over your head. The bucket has holes in the bottom of it. Josie dumped it on me so I was soaking wet. I was cold. Next was the Wheelbarrow Race.

Spring Break

Last Friday my friend and I went to see Miley Cyrus in person.  I was sleeping over my friend's house.  It was so fun.  We had double-fudge brownie cake, yummmmmmmm!  It was the best cake I had ever had.  We watched a good movie.  It was at the movie theaters.  We saw "College Road Trip".  It was good.

Haylie's Bedroom

In my bedroom I have three toy boxes.  I have a TV and a book shelf with 98 books on it.  I have two lamps.  One is white and one is Hannah Montana. 

I have a bunk bed.  I sleep on the top bunk and my sister sleeps on the bottom bunk.

The Egg-cellent Fashion Show

I did my egg on Wednesday. I forgot my egg on Thursday.

I did my egg on the kitchen table. My mom helped me. We made my egg to be a dragon but when I got home it was gone.

I made an egg because I wanted to be part of the Egg-cellent Fashion Show.

Egg Roll 2008

We did a race, an egg race, a great egg race, the great egg race of 2008!  Kyle, he's Chad's brother, put up the stuff for us to do it. 

There were four eggs: blue, purple, green, and orange.  It was so fun!

Mrs. Nevada's Visit

Mrs. Nevada read to us.  She read "Stephanie's Ponytail".  I liked this story because we all got to raise our hands and say "Right on, Stephanie!". 

Her crown was shiny and pretty.  There are diamonds on Mrs. Nevada's crown.

John's Visit

John read to us yesterday.  He read "The Adventures of Taxi Dog" and "Where the Wild Things Are".  I liked "Where the Wild Things Are" because it had a lot of cool pictures.

We learned that John is more than six feet tall.  John has shinier wheels than Miss Powell.  Well, he thinks he has.

I want to ask him if he is married.

Grapes are green and purple.  Some have seeds and some don't have seeds.  Grapes are nice and sweet.  Grapes are sour.  Grapes have skin.  I like purple grapes.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

On Friday in our classroom Mrs. Ramirez talked about Mexico.  September is Hispanic Heritage Month.  She brought in flan.  She brought in postcards to our class.  She talked about church.
