My dad plays the Wii game with me.

My Cousin
My cousin lives in Hawaii. Her name is Kaiply. She is 13 years old. When I went to Hawaii with my family I played with Kaiply and her toys.
We played video games. I think Kaiply won most of the games. My brother got to play too. I think he won one game. It was fun!

The Stolen Pencil
I was laying in Ethan's pencil box. Suddenly someone opened the box, but it wasn't Ethan and I was stolen. I was really scared.
The thief wanted to write a ransom note to get money. He squeezed me hard and made me write the note. I wanted to write "help me" but he broke my tip. Ouch! That hurt! I tried to get away by poking him in the eye. He dropped me and I rolled to Ethan.

Loving Mom
I love my mom so much. She loves me. She is the best mom I ever will have. Well, she’s the only mom I will ever have and that makes her the best!
My mom’s name is Yvette. She has brown hair and brown eyes. My mom is pretty.
My mom likes opaka-paka (Hawaiian fish). I love opaka-paka. My mom was born in Hawaii. I have been to Hawaii two times.
I love my mom! My mom loves me!

Spring Break
On Spring Break I went roller skating. My little brother fell down two times. Then we went home.
On Sunday I went to church. We went across the street to go on an Easter egg hunt.

Field Trip Idea
Dear Miss Powell,
My idea is to go to Pizza Hut for our class trip. We can learn how to make pizza there. I think it would be lots of fun and maybe we could try a sample.

Ethan's Bedroom
My bed is higher than a regular size twin bed and lower than a top bunk bed. I use a ladder to climb into my bed. It is made out of wood.
Under my bed is my toy box with all of my toys in it. Sometimes my sheets are Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, or Snowmen. My favorite blanket is blue and it is soft, warm, and fuzzy.

The Egg-cellent Fashion Show
I did my egg project after my friends left my house. My mom and dad helped me do it.
I made an alligator. His name is Al-egg- ator.

Egg Roll 2008
Today my class and I did an Egg Roll. It was not like eating a Chinese egg roll. We rolled Easter eggs.
Chad's big brother, Kyle, rolled two 50 foot rolls. I rolled pretty good. We made predictions before we rolled. Egg Roll 2008 was fun!

Mrs. Nevada's Visit
Mrs. Nevada came to visit our class. It was fun. She read "Stephanie's Ponytail". She did the ponytails just like in the book. It was funny!
I enjoyed the book because it was funny.
Mrs. Nevada's crown was big, sparkly, and pretty. It has diamonds on it.

John
Yesterday John came to our classroom. He is six feet four inches tall. Man he is big!
I found out that John is in a band when he is not selling cars. He writes songs. John used to live in New York before he moved to Las Vegas.
I want to know how long John has been playing in a band. Is it hard to play the bass guitar? Is he good at playing the guitar? John said he can play a piano. I wonder if he ever took lessons.

Ethan's Cookies
My cookies are shaped like a heart. They have little sprinkles and cream. I don't know if they taste good but I hope they will. The cookies look good and I think they will be good.

My Favorite Fruit
This fruit is orange. It is a little bigger than a golf ball and it is round. You need to peel off the rough skin to get the fruit inside. It smells sweet. You can rip a piece of it off to take a bite. It tastes juicy, soft and delicious. Be careful... sometimes there are seeds in it.

I Am a Snowflake I'm a snowflake. I'm falling from the sky. I'm drifting down and the wind is pushing me lightly. It is a winter day and 102 other snowflakes are falling around me. I'm falling on Santa's house.

I have an automatic phone. You don't need to use your hands for it. You just say the person's name and I call for you.
I have a navigation system that leads you where you need to go.
I have heated leather seats in case you get a cold bottom.
The best thing is how fast I go on the highway.

How I Spent My Winter Vacation
My family went to our friend's house on a cold winter day. We made lunches for people who are homeless. Then we drove downtown and passed out lunches to homeless people. First I felt sad for them because they have no home. Then I felt happy that we helped them.

First I get dressed. Next I eat breakfast. Last I watch TV. Later I go to school to play. After school we go home to play games. Then we go to bed.
