My Dad
My dad takes me shopping.
My dad takes me to karate lessons.
My dad takes me to the range.
My dad does great activities with me.
My dad is all mine.
Hi, I'm Perry. I'm a pencil, a number 2 pencil, the best pencil there is. I help Erik write all his homework. My brother, Pauly, is at school. He helps Erik write all his school work. I like it when I get sharpened. It makes me feel brand new. I do not like it when I am erased.
On Good Friday I went to UNLV to see and touch a lizard. I saw a snake get fed a little mouse. Then me, my mom and my dad went to the Springs Preserve. I learned how everything used to be in the water. I saw more lizards.
I think it would be nice to go to the Springs Preserves for our field trip. It would teach us about Nevada’s history. The Springs is the birthplace of Nevada. At the Springs they have animals, reptiles, plants, and trees that are native to our area. I think we would have a ton of fun and learn a lot! Can we? Can we? Can we? Please, please, can we? Let’s take a vote.
Firefighter Garland told us to have sprinklers and fire alarms. He told us about Station 11 on Las Vegas Blvd. He told us about the shifts that he works.
The theme of my bedroom is Spiderman. I have Spiderman sheets, pillows, bedspread, lamp, shelves, and posters. It’s even painted Spiderman blue.
I have my own TV, DVD, VCR, and computer desk for my computer. I have my own phone and a laptop. We won’t talk about my toy room. There’s too much to talk about.
John came in yesterday and read "The Adventures of Taxi Dog" and "Where the Wild Things Are". I liked "The Adventures of Taxi Dog" because it had a nice story. I did not like "Where the Wild Things Are" because it was a little bit boring.
I learned that when John is not working at Ford Country he is in a band. He can play the bass guitar and the piano but not at the same time.
I wonder if John has family here in Las Vegas or are they in New York. I want to know if he has a girl friend.
I have a ton of cookies, more than Miss Powell asked for. They look terrific and sweet. I think the class will love them. I do not know where my mom bought them.
Apples come in many different colors. Some are sweet and some are sour. Apples grow on trees in apple orchards. When they become ripe they are ready to be picked. I love apples. They are delicious!
Erik's perfect day is Christmas. First I get up and go down stairs. Next I have breakfast with my Mom, Dad, Nana, and Auntie. Last I open up all my presents and my Dad puts all of my presents in a pile. Later me and my Dad play all day long.
We wake up in the morning and my mother makes brunch. I watch the "Macy's Day Parade". We love to watch the floats and the balloons. My family really enjoys it because they are from New York City. My Auntie loves it the best because at the end of the parade she yells "Hi Santa!" After that my dad, my Auntie and I watch the dog show. My mother and my Nana prepare everything for our delicious Thanksgiving meal. Before dinner we toast each other and wish us a "Happy Thanksgiving".
Two weeks ago at the South Point Lanes, my whole family and my friend Matt all went bowling for fun. I beat my Dad and my Mom. My aunt lost almost every game. We were having so much fun that we lost track of time and made Matt late for his family dinner.
Me and Matt, Logan, and Bryce, and Kalob did the O.R.E.O. Challenge. We stacked Oreos on a piece of paper. We counted them. I did it two times and I did 11 and 19. We got to eat some.
