Meet My Cousin
I have one cousin you have not met. I would like you to know about her. Her name is Brittney and she lives in Las Vegas. She is cool, and smart.
Brittney is in college. Brittney has two jobs. She works with my mom and she works in a restaurant called Carrabas. They have good food there! Brittney lets me sit on the big chair so everybody can see me.
Brittney and I like to play Wii. We also like to play with her dog, Baxter. We throw toys for him to fetch.

My mom likes to cook. She likes to cook lots of food for her family because she cares. My favorite things are mashed potatoes and gravy!
My mom also likes to play with me when I need someone to play with. We like to play two square outside in my driveway.

Field Day Finally Came
Field Day was finally here. It was so fun. One of the games was Wet n' Wild. In this game you have one bucket in front and one in the back. The buckets are filled with water and you form a line between them. When Mrs. Ozawa blows the whistle you pick up your cans. You fill them with water then toss them to the person behind you.

Spring Break
Sunday morning I woke up, got dressed, then headed outside to ride my blue bike around the neighborhood with my brother, Kane. We colored Easter eggs for Easter.
We went for a walk with my mom's friend, Lisa. We walked for a mile. Then we got to hunt for Easter eggs with my friend in the front yard and back yard. She got 47 eggs and I got 36 eggs.

Field Trip Idea
Dear Miss Powell,
I think our field trip should be at a farm because you can see lots of beautiful animals. If we go to a farm we might learn more things about animals. We might learn how the babies hatch. It would be fun.
Your Student,
Cali

The Egg-cellent Fashion Show
When I did my egg project it was a couple of days before it needed to be turned in. I brought it to class the day before it was due.
I did my project on the kitchen table. The kitchen table was a good place to work because it was flat. My coffee table was too bumpy.
I made my project with my dad and my brother. My mom painted the lines on the football.
What I made was a football field. That should help me win the contest.
Why I did it is because I wanted to be creative so I will win.

The Egg Roll of 2008
On March 4th, we played a fun game called The Egg Roll Game. In the Egg Roll Game you roll eggs like you are bowling. We used four eggs to play the game.
You have to try to roll your egg further than the other people. When you roll someone else has to mark the spot where your egg stops or goes off the paper. They have to write the color on the paper so you know which egg it was.

John Bru
Yesterday John Bru came to our classroom to read us two books. He was our Mystery Reader. The clues he gave us were really easy to guess that it was him. I knew he sold cars so I knew that the guy we are talking about was John.
What I learned about John is he is from New York and he has a little boy.
I still want to know about how John first got the job selling cars. Did he have other jobs before and did he go to college?

The Snowflake Being Hurt
If they keep twirling me and throwing me down to the ground I will have bruises and might break one of my points. I won't be a pretty snowflake anymore. I will be a hurt snowflake. Maybe I can hide in a cloud and not fall down from the sky.
