Meet My Grandma

My grandma’s name is Nancy.  She is my dad’s mom.  Grandma buys my brother and I lots of marshmallows.  We make them into S’mores with graham crackers and chocolate bars.

Grandma buys us lots of toys.  Sometimes we go shopping together.  We get to pick out our favorite toys.  I like WWE toys.

My grandma lives in Reno.  She lives in a big house that is white and brown.  When we visit we stay for a couple of days.

I Am a Pencil

I am a pencil. It is fun because I am made out of wood. I have ink. I help people write. I also make words disappear. I can turn pointy and sharp.

My Mom

My mom’s name is Amber.  She has brown eyes and blond hair.  She wears jeans all the time.

My mom works at St. Rose Hospital. She goes to sleep at 8:30 and wakes up at 5:30. 

My mom is really fun.  She plays with me all the time.  We play Frisbee and golf.  I like when we play together.

My mom is the best!  I love my mom!!!

Field Day 2008

Yesterday, the 50 Yard Dash was the fastest game. We almost won but we did good. Everybody ran as fast as they can. The yellow team won.

After we were done we took a break. Then we did Splash Attack. We won that one. After we did Splash Attack we went to Wet n'Wild. Me and Chad got soaking wet. It was the coolest game ever!

Then we went to the Wheelbarrow Race. I was teamed up with Chad. He scraped my arms and I dropped Chad four times, but on accident.

Spring Break

On my spring break I played Xbox 360.  The game was Smackdown vs. Raw.  If you want to play a later match to get the belt, just push up on the controller.  I like it because it is fun.  I played with my brother and dad.

Field Trip Idea

Dear Miss Powell,

We should go to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay.  Everyone gets their own speaker that will tell them about each station.  Each station tells you about water creatures.  There is a dome that you walk through with fish swimming around you.  We can even touch the sting ray and see different sharks.  We will learn so much!

Anthony's Bedroom

My bed is in the corner of my room.  My camouflage sleeping bag is on the floor.  That’s where I like to sleep. 

My football trophy is as tall as me.  My John Cena poster is on the side of my TV.  I have a PlayStation 2 in my room.  I even have Game Cube in my room.

The Egg-cellent Fashion Show

We did the Egg-cellent Fashion Show last week on Tuesday. I made my egg on Monday the day before the fashion show. I did it in the kitchen at the table.

My mom, my brother, my mom's boyfriend, and I made my project. I made a helicopter out of an egg.

Why did I do it? So I can win the egg contest!

Egg Roll 2008

We had an Egg Roll Contest.  Cali, Dave, and Chad's brother, Kyle, won.  Kalob was very close.

We were very loud.  Almost the whole school heard us.  Some of the teachers asked what we were doing.  We said we were having an egg roll contest.  It was very fun.

Mrs. Nevada's Visit

Mrs. Nevada read a story to us.  It was called "Stephanie's Ponytail".  I thought it was really funny because she kept changing her ponytail.

Mrs. Nevada's crown was silver and had diamonds on it.  It's very shiny.

John's Visit

I liked the books that John read to us.  The one I liked the most is "Where the Wild Things Are".  It had lots of monsters in it.  Monsters are cool!

I learned some stuff about John.  He is six feet four inches tall.  When he was eight years old he used to read "Where the Wild Things Are". 

I want to know a couple more things about John: When you were little, did you dress up like a monster?  Is there a six foot pool in New York?  Do you read "Where the Wild Things Are" to your son?  How old is your son?

Some of my cookies are covered with cream.  The other cookies are covered in sprinkles.  One of them has too much cream.

Favorite Fruit

My favorite fruit has fur on it.  It is sweet and juicy.  It even has black seeds in it.  It can be the size of a golf ball.  It is a kiwi.

I Am a Snowflake

It is scary falling from the sky.  Snowflakes come from the sky so they can make kids happy. 

It's fun to be a snowflake because I get turned into a snowman.  It's cool because kids get to throw me in the air.

Miss Powell's New Car

Can't you see how shiny I am?  I am Tony. I am Miss Powell's new car.  I can go 120 miles per hour. 

Whenever I get dirty I go to the car wash.  Then I am shiny again. 

I like to go on the highway because I like to go fast!  I like it best when my sunroof is open and the stereo is blasting!

How I Spent My Winter Vacation

When my brother and I got to Reno it was about 34 degrees there.  When it was December 14, we went to the movies.  We saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks".

Thanksgiving Traditions

November 22, we were at Reno me, my dad, my brother, my Grandma, my PaPa, and my Aunt Cindy.  Right when we were almost done we call everybody and we had a Thanksgiving party.  Why did we have a party?  Thanksgiving is a holiday.  Then we ate lots of turkey.

On Friday in our classroom Mrs. Ramirez talked about Mexico.  She said that they have big mangos.

Sunday

On Sunday I went to the Adventuredome and I went to the IMax 3-D at Luxor.  My mom, my brother, Sam and I rode some rides at Adventuredome.  We watched a 3-D movie at Luxor.  Why?  We wanted to have a family day.

On Thursday we had an Oreo contest with partners.  The partners were Anthony, Chad, Dave, and Kenneth.  Then we got to eat the Oreos.

I eat breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. I brush my teeth so my breath doesn't smell.

Five Movies That I Like

1. I like G.I. Joe because they had a paintball fight.

2. In Ratatouille the rat can talk.

3. Cody is a penguin that can surf and talk in Surf's Up.

4. Peter Pan can fly and he has friends that are little but they are supposed to be big.

5. Scooby Doo eats Scooby Snacks and is afraid of monsters.
